Buying Print on eBay: Same Painting Brighter and Darker?
I'm looking to buy a print of Van Gogh's "Starry Night Over the Rhone" on eBay. Some sellers show images of prints which are dull and dark, while others show those which are bright and vivid.
Are these the same prints, or are some prints actually significantly darker than others?

Colors can, and will, vary from print to print, and also in the reproductions shown on the Internet. If the exact coloration is an important factor for you then it would be best for you to shop and buy the piece at an art store or gallery, where you can actually see the piece, and not on-line.
