Discovering The Joys Of A Brand New Bed
In search of a new loft bed and not sure what to really buy? There are many choices when it comes to these types of beds, but was I only considering a regular one or more advanced. Like a bed with a desk, those are really nice.
See the whole process was one to redo the kid's room to make it look better. The old bed was shot and needed to be replaced. With adding on a desk I would make it a lot easier for him to be able to study. There are many loft beds with desk that would work great and still give him plenty of room.
A nice quite place to study was one of the best ideas, because a teen boy sure hates to study! But the desk needed to be large enough to fit that computer, plus allowing him space to write once in a while. Since not all of his studies were done on the computer this was really important in the decision.
There were many sizes of desks that would come with these beds and some were just too small. While others would take up a larger portion of the room. Plus the fact that we had a fairly small budget played a big part in the plan. See we wanted to replace the bed and redo the room a bit for his age.
Looking around we wanted to be able to compare many places for these bed choices. We were leaning towards one with a desk for sure. So that cut out a few of the choices, but not that many. Not enough to make the decision one that was simple.
So we tried to decide on what would be best for the look of the room and what would last the longest. We wanted to have something that would stand up to a big teen boy who would plop down quite often on his bed too. The final choice would be between an oak frame and one of the metal frame beds.
We went with the oak bed in the final choice, because it just looked a lot nicer. Figuring that it stand up to the final years he would be living with us too. Plus we could keep it up for those times when he would head back for a visit after he moved out too.
The decision was made and we settled for an oak frame with desk that was very beautiful loft bed with desk. Though we would have to be the ones who put it together, it was actually quite simple.
