Painting Fine
Painting over wood paneling?
I am thinking of painting over some wood paneling. It is a very smooth, slick surface. Does it look fine painted over? Do I need to do just a coat of primer and a coat of paint? Anything special I need to know?

My mother has told me the same thing.
It looks like paneling that is painted over : )
We painted some paneling in our basement of our old house, and we primed then painted. It was a pain to get the paint smooth with just a roller because it wouldn't all settle in the *grooves* of the paneling.
We found the best way was to brush the paint into the grooves, then roll over with the roller.
